In 2007 we decided to try family skiing - we went up for a day at Blue Mountain - ALex, Isabel and I. We all took lessons, but the one that seemed to learn the quickest, and seemed a natural was Isabel. At the age of 5, and first time on skiis she was eager to demonstrate to us parents that she knew what she was doing. Within a few hours Isabel was ready to move on to bigger hills, while Alex and I were still navigating the beginning runs (ok magic carpet runs). Isabel had found a winter sport that she appeared to love and wanted more, but the season was over and she would have to wait until next year to try it for a second time.

Family Skitime
I had my first experience on skiis sometime in my early 20's - sometime in university. I went up with a a good group of friends and decided that I would give the winter sport a try. It was a great day, but I came home with many bumps, bruises and very sore body from spending most of time . It took me another 15 years to try it again.
